  • Description

    The AVC continuous motion vertical cartoner is designed by CAM to meet packaging requirements at medium-high speed for products that cannot be guaranteed by horizontal positioning. It features closed-profile cams for movement control and a heavy-duty structure, reducing maintenance and ensuring machine life. The machine has a 4-station turret for carton pick-off at zero speed, allowing total and progressive pre-breaking. Each carton erection station has two suction-cup arms for positive opening. The machine has a wide range of product feeders, particularly suitable for bottles and jars. The vertical position eliminates horizontal introduction problems and is equipped with a high-endurance motorized carton magazine. CAM has developed a new carton closure system that allows format change without specialized technicians, eliminates fine tuning time, and ensures quality consistency. The machine also has the Mechanical Memory® system, transforming size change-over into rapid operations that can be carried out by unskilled personnel in less than 10 minutes.
